Program Overview
Arvada Reservoir Rangers are a dedicated group of volunteers who assist with the daily operations of the Arvada (Blunn) Reservoir. Reservoir Rangers provide guest assistance, first aid, emergency response and resource protection to enhance the experience of all reservoir visitors.

Apply to be a Reservoir Ranger
The City is looking for new volunteers to join the Arvada Reservoir Ranger program! The seasonal position runs April through October. This year's training is March 8-9, so apply to be a ranger now!
Duties
- Perform boat and kayak inspections
- Respond to visitor concerns in a friendly and receptive manner
- Patrol reservoir for safety concerns
- Assist at special events such as the annual Arvada Kids Fishing Tournament

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Clean background check
- Strong people skills and friendly demeanor
- Ability to educate the public about park rules in a non-confrontational manner
