Arvada Harvest Festival

The 97th Annual Harvest Festival will be taking place on Friday, Sept. 9, through Sunday, Sept. 11. The Festival will be taking place at Lutz Fields (10664 W. 58th Ave.). It will run Friday from roughly 5 to 10:30 p.m., Saturday from 12 to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. 

2022 Harvest Festival: New Parade Route 

The Parade will take place Saturday, Sept. 10. The Parade will be on W. 58th Avenue between Ward Road and Kipling Street. It will start at 9 a.m. with a planned finish at 12 p.m.

About Harvest Festival 

The Arvada Harvest Festival, which commemorates the history of the once primarily farming community of Arvada, began in October 1925 to celebrate the completion of the first concrete road (Grandview Ave.) between Arvada and Denver. Over the decades, the festival has been operated primarily by the Arvada Jaycees and originally by the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, this cultural and historic celebration has been produced, organized and hosted by the Arvada Jaycees, dedicated community volunteers and the Arvada Junior Chamber Foundation with the continued support of the City.

Neighborhood Access 

Timberline Farms Development

Beginning at 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. there will be no access to W. 58th Ave. Vehicles will need to exit through the Stenger parking lot, onto Oak St. View map. 

Ralston Valley Garden

Beginning at 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Miller St. between 58th Ave. and 60th Ave. will be closed to all non-parade participants. Vehicles will need to exit onto Kipling St. during this time. View map.

What is the City's role? 

The Harvest Festival is an important and historic event for the Arvada community, and the City has been a proud partner of the Harvest Festival for many years, providing significant direct and in-kind support. Support includes public safety and traffic control support during the event and coordination of a variety of City services from parks maintenance to street sweeping. The total cost to the City for its support of this event each year is between $70,000 and $100,000. In 2022, the City is the title sponsor of the Festival. 

The City team is committed to an ongoing productive and collaborative relationship with the Harvest Festival Committee, the organizers of the festival responsible for the timely planning of the event.
