Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day 2022

This annual event encourages everyone to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by using a bike for transportation!

Bike to Work Day 2022 is Wednesday, June 22. The City of Arvada will be hosting two stations during the day. Join us for breakfast between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Memorial Park (north of Arvada City Hall) and Gold Strike Park (at the Ralston Creek and Clear Creek trail crossings. The stations will allow cyclists to take a break, refuel with snacks and meet other cyclists!).  Visit biketoworkday.co to find a station near you and register as a participant.

About Arvada's Bike System

The City of Arvada boasts 125 miles of off-street bikeways and 56 miles of on-street bike lanes. Arvada's bicycle infrastructure and the City's ability to manage it properly has resulted in a Bike Friendly Community designation by the League of American Bicyclists. The most recent award is at the Silver Level (to match communities like Denver, Longmont, Aspen and Vail) because the City participates in programs like Bike To Work Day.
